Doza Consulting appointed to Yorkshire Water’s £32m AI services framework

February 13, 2026

Yorkshire Water has appointed Leeds-based Doza Consulting to its new AI Services framework.

One of only six organisations selected for the five-year framework, Doza joins a group of partners that includes global engineering firm Jacobs and Faculty Science (recently acquired by Accenture), alongside local and specialist firms Answer Digital, Artesia Consulting, and Sand TECH Ai.

Proven Technical Capability

This strategic appointment highlights Doza’s reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative technical services. While many firms focus on high-level AI strategy, Doza distinguishes itself by its ability to ship production-ready AI solutions, driven by deep expertise in machine learning, data, and cloud engineering.

The firm has already demonstrated this capability by supporting the delivery of complex projects for high-profile organisations including KPMG, the NHS, and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.

Solving Real-World Problems

The framework is designed to move Yorkshire Water into a new phase of strategic maturity, applying AI to deliver measurable value. This focus aligns with Doza’s reputation for practical delivery. While many firms focus on high-level AI strategy, Doza distinguishes itself by shipping production-ready solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing cloud infrastructure.

A Collaborative, Agile Partnership

Yorkshire Water selected partners capable of working closely with internal data science teams to co-develop solutions. This “one team” approach is central to Doza’s ethos.

Beyond delivering technical solutions, Doza is committed to upskilling internal staff, ensuring that Yorkshire Water retains ownership and the capability to adapt solutions in-house. This reflects Doza’s core mission to not just deliver technology, but to empower the teams they work with.

Championing Regional Innovation

This appointment follows a standout year for the firm. In 2025, the Leeds Digital Festival named Doza Consulting Start-Up of the Year, cementing its status as a driving force in the region’s tech ecosystem.

Further validating its service-led approach, the firm also secured the Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Award for Service Industries Entrepreneur of the Year. These accolades underscore Doza’s unique market position: a homegrown consultancy with the agile culture of a start-up and the technical maturity to deliver critical infrastructure.

A Framework for AI Governance

Doza’s ISO 42001 certification underpins its approach to the framework. As the international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS), this certification enables Doza to develop solutions within a framework of rigorous governance and risk management, an essential priority for major infrastructure providers.

Mike Silverstone, Director at Doza Consulting, commented:

“Being appointed to this framework alongside some of the world’s most recognised engineering and AI firms is a significant milestone for us. Our focus on ‘AI Readiness,’ paired with our ability to build and ship robust Machine Learning models, ensures we can provide Yorkshire Water with the technical rigor of a global firm, delivered with the agility and local insight of a Leeds-based partner.”

Dan Rathbone, Non-Executive Director at Doza Consulting, added:

“Doza’s inclusion in this framework validates the company’s mission to provide high-quality, human-centred technology solutions. It’s a testament to the team’s technical depth that a specialist consultancy can stand as a peer to global organisations in such a critical field as Artificial Intelligence.”

Founded in 2023, Doza Consulting has experienced remarkable growth, welcoming 15 new consultants in 2025 alone. The company remains strategically focused on capitalising on the increasing demand for large-scale data and AI-related projects throughout 2026.
